** Retaining 50% semen rights. Also retaining 50% semen rights to 6001,6004, 6113 and 6170. We are only retaining semen rights on these seven rams based on their ultrasound intramuscular scanning results. If their scan results remain the best after the 2007 drop are processed then we may choose to collect and/ or market these rams. We belileve it is unlikely that we would collect from any of these rams as we will be selecting from over 150 ram lambs from thwe 2007 drop but on the off chance they do remain exceptional examples we have retained some semen rights.

The rams and stud ewes will have MN2 status (Acc no SA383) and the rams are Accreditied Ovine Brucellosis free (Acc No 1212). The commercial ewes have 3 Johnes points. 

The rams and stud ewes will all have Lambplan figures and we will also be providing a Pure Suffolk Lamb Index score on all rams and stud ewes to assist those looking to have a self replacing Pure Suffolk Lamb flock. (see the news page for more details on this new index) In addition we will be scanning our rams for intramuscular fat and we will be publishing a full explaination of this trait and how to use it in your breeding program on this site and on our sale catelogue in the near future.
